Demand for action from Sunak government
India bluntly told the British diplomat that whatever happened on Sunday is a direct violation of the Vienna Convention. Britain’s diplomat was summoned at 10:30 pm itself. It was conveyed to them that India would never accept such incidents of lapse in security. India believes that this incident is a big mess with the security of the Indian High Commissioner in the UK and the officials working here. Along with this, the Sunak government of UK has been demanded to take immediate action on this.
Will not kneel before the Khalistanis
India has said that those who are involved in this incident should be arrested and punished. Along with this, strict security measures should be taken so that such incidents do not happen again. British Ambassador to India Alex Ellis strongly condemned the incident as soon as it came to the fore. He said that such an incident will not be accepted at all.
There was absolutely no security outside the High Commissioner and because of this only these Khalistani have been able to enter inside the High Commissioner. But the video of this new development is being considered as a befitting reply from India to the Khalistanis and their supporters. Along with this, it has been made clear from the Indian side that it will not bow down to these Khalistanis under any circumstances.
This happened in the year 2019 as well
This is not the first time that the Indian High Commission in London has been vandalized like this. Earlier in the year 2019, some citizens of Pakistan broke the window of the High Commissioner. Indian side has demanded action from the UK government on such incidents earlier also. India has always been demanding to take steps against Khalistan supporters. India believes that such incidents are not only a violation of international law but are also a serious security issue.
