Indian-origin drug peddler Thangaraju Supayya was hanged in Singapore. The court had on Tuesday rejected an application filed by his family, and the United Nations, to pardon him. Tangaraju Suppiah was hanged at Changi Jail a day after an 11-hour appeal was rejected by a court here. The 46-year-old was sentenced in 2018 for coordinating with two other men to import 1 kg of cannabis in 2013.
