Jerusalem: Iran has fired 185 drones, 36 cruise missiles and 110 surface-to-surface missiles at Israel. Which also includes Iraq and Yemen. The New York Times gave this information quoting two Israeli officials.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a major drone and missile attack on Israel on Saturday night, April 1, in response to Israel’s airstrike on the consular annex building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus. The Israeli attack destroyed a building and killed seven IRGC members, including two generals. After this, Tehran resolved to take retaliatory action.
Israeli media reported on Sunday that Israel has intercepted 99 percent of drones and missiles fired by Iran and is preparing a decisive response. US President Joe Biden later said that Washington helped Israel shoot down almost all incoming drones and missiles.
