ISI, Pak Army, Pak government and court have formed an alliance to keep Imran Khan away from the power of Pakistan

Just ahead of Pakistan’s general elections, former Prime Minister Imran Khan suffered a major setback today when a local court sentenced him to three years in prison in a corruption case. Imran Khan was arrested immediately after the sentence was pronounced. Let us also tell you that Imran Khan will not be able to contest elections for five years due to the sentence of three years. Means the way for them to come to power in Pakistan has been closed. However, Imran Khan’s party PTI has called this decision wrong and has said to challenge it. It has to be seen whether Imran Khan gets any relief from the big court or not. On the other hand, after the sentencing of Imran Khan, his supporters have started demonstrating on the streets. It is being feared that this demonstration may take the same form as was seen at the time of Imran Khan’s earlier arrest. At that time, Imran’s supporters entered the houses of many big officials of the army and the government of Pakistan and ransacked and looted them.

Let us tell you that the case in which Imran Khan has been sentenced was related to making profit by selling expensive gifts during his stay in power. Imran Khan was accused of stealing expensive gifts from the government store (Toshakhana) and selling them. Imran Khan was arrested soon after his conviction in the Toshakhana corruption case. Additional Judge Humayun Dilawar of the District and Sessions Court, Islamabad, also imposed a fine of Rs 1,00,000 on Imran Khan. The court also said that in case of non-payment of fine, he would have to undergo an additional six months in jail.

Let us tell you that this case was filed last year on the complaint of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), which had earlier disqualified him from holding public office in the same case. The Toshakhana is a department under the Cabinet Division, where gifts given to rulers and government officials by other heads of government and foreign dignitaries are kept. It is alleged that Imran Khan bought some gifts, including an expensive watch, from Toshakhana and sold them to make a profit.

However, experts believe that this decision shows that the court has now joined the coalition formed by the ISI, Pakistan Army and the Government of Pakistan to prevent Imran Khan from coming to power. In fact, it was evident in the recent past that there was public anger against the Shehbaz Sharif government due to its failure on the inflation front and coalition partners being embroiled in infighting while Imran Khan’s popularity was on the rise. The public was impressed by the way Imran Khan showed courage and started speaking directly against the army. The people of Pakistan know that along with politicians, army officers are also involved in corruption. Before Imran Khan spoke, no one could openly speak against the army, but Imran Khan gave new strength to the public. Seeing all this, the army had turned against him and today finally Imran Khan’s march towards power has been stopped.
