Water supply resumed in the enclave on Saturday. The UN humanitarian office (OCHA) said on Monday that fuel stocks at all hospitals in the Gaza Strip were expected to last only 24 hours. Officials in Gaza said Israel’s retaliatory attacks have so far killed at least 2,750 people and injured nearly 10,000. Another 1,000 people were missing and believed to be buried under the debris. On the other hand, officials said that at least 1,300 Israelis have been killed in Hamas attacks.
Hamas interior ministry spokesman Iyad al-Bozom said in a statement that more than 1,000 Palestinians were trapped under debris in Gaza, warning of a humanitarian and environmental crisis. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Beijing, where they discussed the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said. The ministry also said that four Chinese civilians were killed in the battle.
