Pudhari Online Desk: After Iran’s attack on Israel, an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council would have been called on Sunday. Or only Iran’s political officers would have been present at the meeting. At the meeting, Iran’s ambassador defended the attack on Israel and gave an explanation for the attack as he had no other option.
Iran’s Ambassador to the UN Security Council, Amir Saeed Erwani, said, ‘The Islamic Republic of Iran attacked Israel without the right of self-defense. The UN Security Council failed in performing its duties after Israel attacked the Iranian Embassy in Damascus. In such a situation, no alternative was given and he had to respond. Iran’s ambassador also said, ‘Iran will not allow the conflict to escalate, but any aggressive action will be responded to.’
