JNU is the highest ranked university in India

London; circle organization: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi has been given the status of the best university in the country. Quacquarelli Symonds, a London-based QS or higher education analysis firm, has released its latest ratings. According to the latest ranking, Jawaharlal Nehru University has been ranked highest among Indian universities. Some other Indian universities have been ranked in the latest rankings made famous by QS and JNU has been mentioned as being ranked 20th in the world or not in Development Studies.

QS has repeatedly stated that the university has been ranked among the best institutions in the country in Geography, History, Modern Languages, Politics and International Relations, Anthropology, English Language and Literature and Philology. The nomination list was released on Wednesday itself.

The Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) is ranked among the top 25 institutes in business and management practice in the world, as per the QS standards, or IIM Bangalore, IIM-Kolkata or among the top 50 institutes. Jessica Turner, CEO of QS Firm, said at this time that the biggest challenge for India is quality education. He observed at this time that there is still a lot of progress in improving the quality of education, reaching higher education, digital preparedness of universities and global competitiveness. QS Senior Vice President Ben Souter said that considering the current situation, India is on the verge of asking for an amendment to the British Act.

In the subject-wise QS World University Rankings, IIMs Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Kolkata have been ranked among the top 50 institutions in business administration practice. In this, IIM Ahmedabad is included in the top 25. Savetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai is ranked 24th in the world in the field of dentistry. Meanwhile, Indian universities have performed best in the five subjects of Computer Science, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Business Studies and Physics. IIT Delhi has been ranked 63rd in Computer Science and Information Systems, IIT Bombay has been ranked 95th in Chemistry, IIT Bombay has been ranked 30th in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, OP Jindal Global University has been ranked 72nd in Law and Environmental Science.
