Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Ltd on Wednesday bought 1.20 crore units of National Highway Infrastructure Trust for Rs 149.65 crore through an open market transaction.
National Highway Infrastructure Trust is an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) sponsored by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). According to data available with NSE, Larsen & Toubro bought 1.20 crore units, which is equivalent to 11.02 per cent unitholding in National Highway Infra Trust. The units were purchased at an average price of Rs 124.71 per unit. According to this, the value of the deal comes to Rs 149.65 crore.
