An Indian restaurant in New Jersey has launched a special thali in honor of PM Modi, prepared by chef Shripad Kulkarni. Khichdi, Rasgulla, Sarson Ka Saag, Kashmiri Dum Aloo, Idli, Dhokla, Buttermilk and Papad are included in this thali.

Shripad Kulkarni informed that items have been added to the thali as per the demand of the Indian diaspora.

Kulkarni further said, ‘We are planning to launch this thali soon. I am very positive that it is going to gain popularity. If this thali does well, I am also planning to launch a Dr Jaishankar thali as he too has rockstar appeal among the Indian American community.’ Let me tell you, this is not the first time when a plate named after PM Modi is being launched in his honour. Last year ahead of PM Modi’s birthday, Delhi’s Connaught Place restaurant ARDOR 2.1 launched a 56-inch Narendra Modi Thali.
