In recent months there has been a spate of migrant kidnappings in Mexico. Prosecutors in the northern border state of Sonora said late Friday they had located 10 Colombians who went missing Tuesday in the border town of San Luis Rio Colorado, near the border with Arizona. A relative of one of the missing Colombians said the kidnappers had called their relatives in the US to demand thousands of dollars.
