Nikki Haley, a contender for the Republican Party in the US presidential election, has criticized Israel for not opening its country’s doors to those who wish to flee to safer places amid fears of ground action in Gaza. Islamic countries have been condemned.
Haley previously criticized former President Barack Obama and current President Joe Biden for their nuclear deals with Iran, and accused Tehran of strengthening Hamas and Hezbollah.
“We should be concerned about the Palestinian people, especially innocent people, but where are the Arab countries?” he told CNN on Sunday. Where are they? Where is Qatar? Where is Lebanon? Where is Jordan? Where is Egypt? Do you know that we give Egypt more than a billion dollars a year? Why aren’t they opening their doors? Why are they not accepting the people of Palestine?
Haley said, “Do you know why?” Because they don’t want Hamas in their neighborhood. So why would Israel want them in its neighborhood? So be honest about what’s happening. Arab countries are not doing anything to help the Palestinians because they do not trust who is right, who is good, who is bad and they do not want this in their country.
Haley said that these Islamic countries will blame America. “They will come and blame America, they will blame Israel,” he said. They won’t do anything, but if they want, they have the full power to stop it. “They have the ability to immediately ask Hamas to stop what it is doing.”
Haley said, “But you know what? Qatar will continue to work with Hamas and its leadership. Iran will continue to finance all this and say nothing. Who is silent? Every Arab country is silent. But we will point a finger at Israel, we will point a finger at America. Haley said that Hamas will do everything possible to not let them go, because it wants ‘they all die’.
