According to BBC news, Karishma’s father Ramesh Kumar Bhil told how three armed men forced their way into their house and kidnapped his daughter. After the kidnapping of the daughter, they immediately reached the police and pleaded for help. But instead of prompt action, the police made them wait for two hours.
