Pakistan Economy Crisis: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan held a grand public meeting in Lahore on Sunday. During this, he presented a 10-point blueprint of Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) to rescue Pakistan facing economic crisis. In a public meeting organized at Minar-e-Pakistan, Imran Khan challenged the country’s ruling party to present a plan to rescue Pakistan which is facing crisis on different fronts.
Imran’s challenge to Pak government
PTI chief Imran said, I challenge that the present government does not have the ability or intention to save the country. If the government tells me that it has a plan to get the country out of trouble, I will be on the edge of laughter. According to the news published in The Dawn newspaper, 70-year-old Imran Khan said, I know what is the plan. They don’t have any plan.
Country needs to take tough decisions to increase tax collection and exports
Presenting a 10-point roadmap to PTI, the former prime minister said overseas Pakistanis would be encouraged to invest in Pakistan to attract foreign direct investment, repeatedly approaching the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for help. No need to go He said, we will help all those people who export goods and bring dollars into the country. Pakistan, which is facing severe economic crisis, has approached the IMF for the restoration of its loan program. Imran stressed that the country needs to take tough decisions to increase tax collection and exports.

Imran Khan said, a major surgery is needed to repair our house. Overseas Pakistanis will send their dollars to Pakistan, provided they are encouraged in this regard. Imran claimed that out of 22 crore Pakistanis, only 2.5 million pay taxes. He said, there is a need to increase the tax base for progress. The PTI chief also suggested giving loans to the youth to start business and reviving the loan scheme. Imran said that after coming to power, his government would promote tourism and focus would be on the mineral sector to increase revenue. The former PM said that after the formation of his party’s government, work will be done to increase the productivity of the agriculture sector in the country with the cooperation of China. Imran said that the PTI government will take measures to curb money laundering and focus will also be on reducing the current budget deficit.

To thwart Imran’s rally, the police had blocked all major roads leading to Minar-e-Pakistan by placing containers and barricades, due to which people walked a long distance to reach the rally site. In addition, internet services were disrupted in many parts of Lahore, especially in the rally area.
Imran slammed the government
Before the rally, Imran slammed the PML-N-led government and its handlers for arresting and torturing over 2000 PTI workers. He said, one thing is clear that whoever will be in power, the message will go to him today that the passion of the people cannot be suppressed by barriers and containers. The PTI chief told the people in power that if they have an agenda to get the country out of the economic crisis, they are ready to sit at home. Imran also said, the way the corridors of power are behaving in Pakistan today, it seems that Imran Khan is the only problem of the country.
