Around 3,000 Indian Sikhs have also arrived in Pakistan’s Punjab province to participate in the Baisakhi celebrations. Sharif said the Government of Pakistan and its provincial governments will provide all kinds of facilities to Sikh pilgrims coming from all over the world to celebrate the Baisakhi festival. The main event of Baisakhi Mela, a religious festival of Sikhs, will be held on Sunday at Gurdwara Panja Sahib of Hasan Abdal. Thousands of Sikh devotees from all over the world including India will participate in it. Pakistan has granted visas to 2,843 Indian Sikh pilgrims, giving them the opportunity to attend the Baisakhi fair and Khalsa birth day celebrations. Pilgrims will attend the main event of Baisakhi fair at Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Punjab province on Sunday.
