Pakistan: PTI alleges, jail officials not allowing to meet Imran Khan

Internet Desk. Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been sentenced to three years in prison after being found guilty in the Toshakhana corruption case. After this punishment, the police caught him and put him in jail. Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s PTI said that the authorities are not allowing the former prime minister’s legal team to meet him to get him to sign the necessary documents related to the court.
If media reports are to be believed, Imran Khan was arrested from his Zaman Park residence in Lahore after the sentence was pronounced. If reports are to be believed, PTI chief Imran Khan is in jail for hiding the sale of government gifts. A sessions court in Islamabad has pronounced the verdict in the matter.
In this case, in a statement shared by the party on a WhatsApp group, Khan’s arrest has been described as kidnapping. Allegations are being made from the party that the legal team is not being allowed to meet the Superintendent of Attock Jail and the Additional Home Secretary of Punjab to get them signed on the necessary legal documents despite appeals made to them.
