Plane detained in France for four days on suspicion of human trafficking reaches Mumbai

The plane took off from Vatri airport at around 2.30 am local time. A flight from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nicaragua carrying 303 passengers was stopped on Thursday at Vitry airport, 150 km east of Paris, on suspicion of “human trafficking”.

According to French authorities, the plane which flew to Mumbai was carrying 276 passengers and 25 people, including two minors, have applied for asylum in France and are currently in France. Two other passengers were presented before a judge today, where they were released, a French news channel reported.
