He said, ‘Prime Minister Elizabeth Borne came to receive me at the airport and tomorrow I will be part of the National Day parade with my friend President Emmanuel Macron. This affinity is not just between the leaders of the two countries, but it is a reflection of the unbreakable friendship between India and France.

PM Modi said that the connect between the people of the two countries and the mutual trust between the people of the two countries is the strongest foundation of this partnership. Namaste France festival is held here and people in India enjoy Bonsu India. During this, he also reminded Indians of his year 2015. PM Modi said that when he visited France at that time, he paid tribute to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War 100 years ago. He said that the brave soldiers of the Punjab Regiment who had sacrificed their lives in the First World War, on the National Day of France, the same regiment would once again enhance the pride of the parade. It is an emotional moment. Describing it as a proud moment, he thanked France.
Guard of Honor to PM Modi
Soon after reaching Paris, Modi tweeted, ‘Paris reached. Look forward to promoting Indo-French cooperation during this visit. My various programs today include interaction with the Indian community in the evening. Modi was received at the airport by French Prime Minister Elizabeth Borne. He was given a guard of honor at the airport and the national anthems of both the countries were played.
