Russia claims drone attack on Moscow buildings, airstrikes on Kiev too

Russia claimed that a drone strike early Tuesday caused minor damage to some buildings in Moscow, prompting the evacuation of residents. According to the Kiev military administration, one person was killed and seven were injured in late-night Russian airstrikes targeting Kiev. One person was killed and three others were injured in a fire that broke out in a multi-storey building in the Holosiv district, the military administration said. The top two floors of the building were destroyed and people are feared trapped under the debris. More than 20 people were evacuated from there.

Valeria Oreshkov, 39, a resident, said the immediate danger had passed but everyone feared an attack. “You are happy that you are alive, but imagine what will happen next,” he said.
