Russia targets Ukrainian cities with missiles: five killed, around 100 others injured

Russia attacked Ukraine’s two largest cities with missiles on Tuesday, killing five people and injuring about 100 others. The officers provided this information. About 100 survivors of the attack on the building have taken temporary shelter in the school building. Zelensky said in a post released on the social media platform ‘X’ that Russia has fired about 100 missiles of different types.

He claimed that at least 70 missiles were intercepted and all these missiles were fired targeting the Kiev area. Ukraine’s President claimed that the Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems supplied by Western countries have saved hundreds of lives. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that it had launched missile and drone attacks on military industrial installations in and around Kiev. Depots storing missiles and munitions supplied by the West were also targeted, according to the ministry. “All attack objectives were achieved and all targets were hit,” the Russian Defense Ministry said, without elaborating. Zelensky said that since Sunday, Russian forces have attacked with 170 Shahid drones and dozens of missiles, and the targets were mostly non-military areas.
