The two leaders met on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima. The Ministry of External Affairs tweeted, ‘Taking relations to a new level. There was an extensive discussion between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh. The ministry said, “The two leaders discussed enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, defence, building resilient supply chains, energy, science and technology, human resource development, culture and people-to-people ties.”
