Peshawar. Six Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were killed in an operation by security forces in Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday. Police sources gave this information. He said the operation against the terrorists was launched jointly by the Anti-Terrorism Department and Lakki Marwat district police following intelligence inputs about the presence of TTP militants in the area.

He said that arms, ammunition and hand grenades were recovered from the slain terrorists. The Anti-Terrorism Department has launched a search operation in the area. TTP is a collective platform of several terrorist organizations which was established in 2007.
