How special is the Starship rocket?
Musk said that we want to keep our expectations low because this flight may not happen tomorrow. No astronaut will be present during this flight. America’s space agency NASA has selected Starship to take humans to the moon in the year 2025. This mission is being called Artemis 3. For the first time after the year 1972, in the year 2025, man will once again go to the moon. The 164-foot-tall Starship rocket is designed to carry crew and cargo.
The super heavy booster rocket of the first stage of this rocket is only 230 feet. This whole structure has been named Starship. Both the starship and the booster rocket have not flown together. If everything goes according to plan, the super heavy booster will separate from Starship 3 minutes after launch and fall into the Gulf of Mexico. Starship has its own 6 engines and it will complete its journey up to 150 miles. After 90 minutes of launch, it will circle the entire earth before falling into the Pacific Ocean.
