Tragic road accident in Canada, 15 killed in truck and bus collision; 10 injured

Ottawa At least 15 people were killed and 10 others injured in a collision between a semi-trailer truck and a bus in Canada’s Manitoba province. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has given this information.
RCMP tweeted, “A semi-trailer truck collided with a bus at 11:40 a.m. Thursday.” In this incident, 15 people have died and 10 people have been admitted to the hospital. Major Crime Services is investigating and officers are at the scene. Police said the incident happened near the town of Carberry, west of Winnipeg. At the time of the accident, the bus carrying senior citizens from the city of Dauphin collided with the truck while crossing the lane on a highway.
A witness told CBC News he saw a burning vehicle in a ditch just after noon local time. He said, I have not seen such a big accident till date. He said there was also a burnt-out mini truck nearby, and that about 20 police vehicles and eight ambulances were at the scene.
