Both lawmakers are co-chairs of the bipartisan Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans. The MPs will also visit the Red Fort where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on the occasion of India’s Independence Day on 15 August. A media release said the US Congressman will meet business, technology, government and Hindi film industry leaders in Mumbai, Hyderabad and New Delhi. He will also visit Raj Ghat, a historic site dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi in New Delhi.
