The statement said that it would not be appropriate for the Commission to postpone the general elections at this stage. Meanwhile, MP Khan on Monday wrote a letter to Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani saying that it is disappointing that despite the motion presented by him being passed in the Upper House of Parliament, no concrete steps have been taken by the Commission to delay the general elections.
