Li Qiang delivered a speech at the 2024 Annual Conference of the China Development Forum – Dainik Savera Times

The 2024 annual conference of the China Development Forum was inaugurated in Beijing on March 24 morning, which will last for two days. The theme of the conference is continuously developing China.
Responsible persons from major international organizations and the world’s top 500 companies and many world-renowned scholars will discuss issues such as China’s sustainable development.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the annual conference.

He said that the theme of the current conference is not only an objective description of the state of China’s economic development in the long run, but also reflects the world’s attention and expectation on China’s sustainable economic development and high-quality development.
Li Qiang said that in the past year, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee headed by Xi Jinping, China has overcome external pressure and domestic difficulties and accomplished the goal and mission of economic and social development throughout the year.

The trend of improvement in China’s economy is strengthening. New businesses, new models and new dynamic forces are developing rapidly. The Chinese economy is flexible, has great inherent strength and is full of vitality. The trend of improvement in the Chinese economy did not change. Li Qiang also said that comprehensive enterprises are participants, contributors, witnesses and beneficiaries of China’s sustained economic development. Now a profound change is taking place in the international environment. There are many serious challenges facing world economic development.

China will take practical and effective steps to enhance high-quality development, so as to add certainty and strength to world economic revival and sustainable development.
Li Qiang further said that now China’s economy is deeply connected with the world economy. China will continue to create a better business environment, deepen reform in key areas, upgrade the effectiveness of government services, safeguard the legal interests of enterprises, and enhance institutional openness. An open China will definitely give more opportunities to the world.
