He said that the team of Mari Petroleum Company was conducting survey to search for gas in the area in Harnai district when the improvised explosive device (IED) blast occurred.
Harnai Deputy Commissioner Javed Domki confirmed the blast and said that one person died and 14 others were injured in the incident. Baloch militants accuse the federal government of exploiting the province’s mineral wealth. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack and directed officials to provide all necessary medical aid to the injured.
