At one place it was also claimed that Dawood Ibrahim was poisoned on 15th December and he died on 17th December. But there is not much confirmation of this. Dawood Ibrahim’s entire family including his close relative and former cricketer Javed Miandad has been put under house arrest. Apart from this, internet services have been stopped in Pakistan. However, according to defense experts, Pakistan will never confirm this news. India’s enemy number 1 Dawood Ibrahim is an accused in the 1993 Mumbai attacks. America has also declared him a terrorist. Dawood had fled India after the Mumbai blasts. He is also the leader of D Company. Dawood, a UN designated terrorist and the main accused in the 1993 Mumbai blasts, lives in Karachi. This has come before the world many times. This has been repeatedly denied by Pakistan for years. But there are three houses in Dawood’s name in Karachi. All efforts to catch Dawood, who was the most wanted in India for decades, failed. Ajit Doval himself was involved in a plan to eliminate him.

When Dawood would have been killed in Dubai itself

About 18 years ago, the story of Dawood Ibrahim would have ended forever. July 23, 2005, was the date fixed for David’s death. This was the date when Dawood’s daughter had her Walima i.e. reception. Dawood was to be killed in the same hotel in Dubai where the reception was held. But this entire operation of the Indian Intelligence Agency was foiled by a small mistake of the Mumbai Police. This disclosure was made by RK Singh who was the Home Secretary of the country at that time. Dawood’s daughter Marukh Sheikh was married to Junaid, son of Pakistani cricketer Javed Miandad, in Mecca. The news of the marriage was kept very confidential. Only a few people were aware of this. After the 1993 serial blasts, Dawood was constantly moving between Dubai and Pakistan. But as soon as the United Nations declared Dawood an international terrorist in mid-2000, all-round pressure started coming on Pakistan. After this, utmost secrecy was maintained regarding Dawood’s movements.

Mumbai Police ruined Doval’s plan

The news of Dawood’s daughter’s marriage in Mecca had reached Delhi. All the agencies were on alert. The current National Security Advisor had retired from the post of Director of IB i.e. Intelligence Bureau just five months earlier in January 2004. After the Nikah, it was time for Dawat-e-Waleema i.e. reception. Miandad and Dawood wanted to hold the reception in Karachi only. But Pakistani intelligence agencies did not approve it. Therefore, it was decided that the reception would be held on July 23 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Dubai. For the first time, Indian agencies got the news of where Dawood would be on which date, at what time. The IB knew that there would be no better opportunity than this to kill Dawood. After this, on Operation Dawood, the operatives of Chhota Rajan gang were being trained by the Government of India at some secret place outside Maharashtra. Then Mumbai Police officers came to the training spot with an arrest warrant and this intelligence operation could not reach its conclusion. These officers of Mumbai Police were in touch with Dawood. And thus the mission to kill Dawood had failed. This was revealed by the country’s former Home Secretary and BJP leader RK Singh in an interview given to a TV channel.
